ReplyDeleteHey Vivian, your color echo exercise is really interesting - did you use photoshop to manipulate the colors?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that the second border is definitely edgier. And I think that edgy look could have been more enhanced if the image were cropped into a square.
I also did the typographic conveyance exercise, but a little bit differently than you. It's funny how we picked similar fonts for lightly, pillow, and XXL.
Also, what was the app that you used for the border variations exercise? I've never heard of that app and I don't even know how to spell it... If you have some time, I'd love to know what tools you used for your exercises - please just respond to my 5th blog entry on WordPress and I'll be able to find your response easily there (http://paekcrystals.wordpress.com/2014/02/21/entry-5-with-mini-art-school/). I'm trying to find reliable tools to manipulate images in different ways without using Photoshop because I've been running into a lot of trouble with it.
